As an Optical Production Technician, you'll play a hands-on role in the production of high-performance optical systems for space missions. You'll contribute to the assembly, integration, measurement, characterization, and validation of optoelectronic payloads, helping ensure the highest standards of precision and reliability throughout the production process.

Your mission

Your mission will be to support the production, integration, characterization, and validation of optical and optoelectronic payloads for space applications.

Through hands-on work with optical systems and production activities, you will contribute to ensuring that payloads meet the required performance and quality standards throughout the assembly and integration process.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Perform optical measurements during the optical module assembly phase.

• Characterize cameras to support subsequent analysis and performance evaluation.

• Execute payload focusing activities according to established procedures.

• Implement assembly, integration, and validation activities for optoelectronic payloads in accordance with established procedures.

• Prepare technical documentation and reports related to production and testing activities.

• Support the development of proposals and projects related to the production of optical systems and components.

What will set you up for success

• Technical foundation: You hold a Higher-Level Vocational Training qualification related to optics, metrology, topography, or a similar technical field.
• Experience and knowledge:
  • Experience performing critical and sensitive measurements.
  • Experience working with optical devices.
  • Experience working with optical systems in cleanroom environments.
  • Knowledge with measurements softwares

• Autonomy and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Professional communication in English: You will collaborate in an international environment where clear communication matters.
